Eric Le Bellour

Eric LE BELLOUR

Trademark and design attorney, founder

Founding partner of WIPLAW in 2012, Eric Le Bellour has more than 25 years of experience in the field of intellectual property law.

He started his career as an examiner at the French Office, then acted as trademark and design attorney for 10 years in one of the oldest industrial property law firms of France, managing the Trademark & Design Department.

He gratuated from CEIPI (Center for International Intellectual Properties Studies) in Strasbourg and from the University of Nantes with a Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property Law.

He is an active member of various professional associations (APRAM, INTA, Marques), regularly gives conferences and contributes to the 360° Database of Lexis Nexis.

Thomas Lewaite

Thomas LEWAITE

Trademark and design attorney

Registred French and European Trademark and Design Attorney, Thomas Lewaite holds a Master of Law from Université Libre de Bruxelles (2011) and LLM in Intectual Property rights from KU Leuven. He joined WIPLAW in 2012.

He practices in the different areas of the Intellectual Property, especially trademarks and designs, both at the French, Benelux, European Union and international levels.

Thomas Lewaite is also member of professional organisations (CNCPI, APRAM, MARQUES).

Anne Verron

Anne VERRON

IP consultant

Registred French and European Trademark and Design Attorney, Anne Verron has worked in the intellectual property field for more than 25 years.

She started at the French Industrial Property Office (INPI), Opposition Division. She then moved to intellectual property-related international and european negotiation, in Paris and Brussels (INPI, French Permanent Representation to the EU and EU Commission). She also contributed to the organization of IP conferences.

She joined WIPLAW as Consultant in 2015.

Pénélope Brousse

Pénélope BROUSSE

IP lawyer

Pénélope graduated with a Master in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Nantes. She joined WIPLAW in January 2019.

She works in the various fields of intellectual property, notably copyright law, trademark law and design law, whether in France, Benelux, the European Union or internationally.

Before joining the team, Pénélope had experience in the legal department of a Parisian advertising agency.

Marceau Fréby

Marceau FREBY

IP lawyer

Marceau Freby graduated with a Master in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Lyon.

He is also graduated with two university degrees in American and English law from the Edouard Lambert Institute of Comparative Law, and has studied intellectual property law at the University of Leeds.

As a lawyer at WIPLAW since 2021, he works in the different areas of intellectual property law, in particular trademarks, designs and IP contracts.

Claudia Van Vynckt

Claudia VAN VYNCKT

IP lawyer

Holder of an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law and Knowledge Management from Maastricht University and a Master's degree in Law from the Université libre de Bruxelles, Claudia joined WIPLAW in 2023, where she practises as an Intellectual Property lawyer.

She works primarily in trade mark law and design law, advising on the management, commercialisation and enforcement of these rights. She also provides legal advice in copyright and unfair competition law.

She previously completed a one-year traineeship at the EUIPO – European Union Intellectual Property Office, under the Pan-European Seal Programme in Alicante, where she worked in the Opposition Division.

Tom Losfeld

Tom LOSFELD

IP lawyer

A graduate of the Master 2 in Intellectual Property Law and International Trade from the Centre for International Intellectual Property Studies (CEIPI), Tom joined WIPLAW in September 2025.

At the firm, he practises in trade mark law and design law, as well as in intellectual property strategy and portfolio management. His work notably covers filing matters, prior art and availability searches, and case analysis in both pre-litigation and litigation contexts.

Before joining the team, Tom completed his master's degree on a work-study basis within an international group specialising in energy and services. He also gained a year of experience at the EUIPO, in the Business Operations Department, under the Pan-European Seal programme.

Ophélie Benard

Ophélie BENARD

Assistant

Ophélie graduated with a Master in Event Communication from ECS of Brussels.

She joined WIPLAW in September 2020 as an IP Legal assistant. She has attended the IP Paralegal Course 2021 of EUIPO.

She supports the team with administrative and deadlines management tasks.

Assistant

Rodrigo graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Law from EPHEC in Brussels.

He joined WIPLAW in September 2025 as an IP Legal assistant. He supports the team with administrative and deadlines management tasks.

Accounting Consultant

Graduated with a management and accounting Degree, Stéphanie has been counseling her clients for more than 25 years to ensure their accounting and financial follow-up and to optimise the efficiency of their business.
